About the event

Join us on November 5th for a hands-on experience in crafting canned cranberry chutney (high-acid canning) and sauerkraut (fermentation). Explore the art of food preservation through these two methods with the guidance of our skilled Master Food Preservers. Each participant will leave with a pint of homemade cranberry chutney and a quart of brined cabbage, all set for you to transform into sauerkraut in the comfort of your own kitchen! The cost for this workshop is $45, but CACG Renter Members can enjoy a discounted rate of just $15. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity!

Workshop Details This workshop is held outdoors, so we suggest:    

• Dress in layers. Assume you will be cold, or hot. Either way, be ready.    

• Bring water    

• Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that can get messy and/or wet   

• Gloves will be required when handling food  

HEALTH: If you are sick, please do not come to the workshop.  

CLASS SIZE: 3 min. If the minimum is not met, this workshop will be cancelled. add this
