Class Description:Embark on a culinary journey to Italy with our "A Taste of Italy" class, led by Master Food Preserver Deanna Chandra. This immersive cooking experience is perfect for food enthusiasts who want to bring the flavors of Italy into their own kitchens.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will:

  • Create Marinated Tomatoes: Learn the art of marinating tomatoes, a simple yet flavorful way to enhance the natural taste of fresh tomatoes.
  • Make Fresh Pasta: Dive into the traditional craft of making fresh pasta from scratch. You'll gain practical skills in kneading, rolling, and shaping approximately a pound of fresh pasta that you can replicate at home.
  • Prepare Freezer Pesto: Discover the secrets of making classic Italian pesto, perfect for storing in the freezer and using as a versatile addition to various dishes.

Deanna Chandra, a Master Food Preserver, will guide you through each recipe, sharing tips and techniques to ensure your Italian culinary creations are a success.
